Hot Spot: Jeff's Pizza

If you live in Ames you’ve heard of Jeff’s Pizza.  Brothers Jeff and Chris Uetz own the corner pizza shop.  They’ve worked in the pizza business since 1994 as delivery boys, managers, and now owners.  The two decided to put up shop here in Ames because of it’s hometown feel. At Jeff’s it’s all about customer satisfaction.

My biggest motivator in the pizza business is the excitement generated by our customers. For me there is no better feeling in the world than seeing a satisfied smile on someone's face.”

Check out what local Ames residents have to say about Jeff's Pizza:

"Best Pizza in Ames. Forget about Great Plains. Wonderful prices too, especially when you go on a special night. I think Monday nights are their "buy any size specialty pizza and get one free". We usually go with the spinache havarti, and an all-veggie, or the four cheese one. Honestly, never had a pizza I didn't like at this place. Pro-tip: Get a spechter's cream soda. I don't care if you don't like soda. This stuff is bomb!"

"Jeff's Pizza Shop is fantastic.  The pizza is great and so are the Bosco sticks, which are breadsticks with cheese inside.  You can't beat the lunch specials - two GIANT slices of pizza, or a slice of pizza and a salad, or a slice of pizza and two Bosco sticks, plus a drink for something like $5.  Yes, the lines are long at lunchtime, but it's worth it."
